Anyone have any links to designs for them on scoobs?

Some thing sat in the higher pressure areas and delivering cold air to the filter?

Has anyone seen anything like this or is anyone running anything simialar?

Cheers - Mark

The principle is very simple, keep the air inlet in a cold zone. you have to generate as good a seal as possible and make a false 'bulkhead' to keep engine heat at bay.
Take a look at Jap Performance Car mag this month with a white TypeR and look at the convertion in the off-side driving light cover!
Let us know how you get on!

I'm just about to make an aluminium box not dissimilar in design to Alan's, might have to cover it in Foliatec carbon film for that extra bling!

Andrew...

Yeah, that was what i thought of doing. Using the front fog light entry as the intake with some ducting back to a bulk head. Should look horrid, but do the job !

Very suprised there are not a few more products on the market for this. Hmm then again i am not when there is only a few people looking in suspension, driving dynamics etc, we are all booost obsessed...lol

Errr, WTF? cannot for the life of me work out how that might work, and a quick calculation of the volume of air needed to shift through the turbo at 7000 RPM will show that that is one bandly designed product. THis whole Ram Air malarcky is in my opinion a load of bollox.

I am trying to get a cold air supply in for obvious reasons, and plan on using a 6" delivery pipe min...althogh i am also looking at using the front bonnet duct to get the air in as well..as the volume of air need is massive...and wouldnt fit in that can...lol
