Oh-oh, I feel a MAF coming on...
My MY00 has just started playing up the last couple of days. The symptoms are:
1. Sitting at traffic lights and the engine starts to hunt.
2. Occasionally come up to roundabout, clutch in, revs drop to about 3-400 before picking up again.
3. Using a shed-load of Optimax .
Just checked the ECU codes, there's an 11 logged (crank angle sensor) but I reckon that's from when I service it (I unplug the crank angle sensor so I can spin the engine over on the starter to build oil pressure without it firing up).
No other codes are logged.
Reckon it's the MAF or maybe the lamda, but would have thought the lamda would throw a CEL or at least log something?
Sound familiar to any other MY99/00 owners?
Matt

Sounds very similar to mine only 2 weeks ago, I was driving to work and the car was almost stalling at traffic lights etc...when i got to the office I let the car idle and the revs were hunting, fuel economy was worse than normal as well.
Luckily I work pretty close to Power Engineering, so i popped over there in my lunch and picked up a new MAF (was £88 and a bit from memory) got back to the office, fitted it and drove the car home without any problems.
