Question Best Free-flowing Zorst with CAT!???

Soon I will want to replace my trusty Magnex decat system for a good free flow system with a sports cat which will pass the MoT, sound good, but most of all keep the power coming!
I think TSL and a few others are doing them, but does anyone know which may be the best in performance terms?
Also, any 3'' systems with cat?

bpm do a 3 inch system with a sports cat in the middle.

I have the centre pipe. I wouldn't use the bpm twister back box though as it sounds like a bag of broken glass or sand being shaken about. Awful. The downpipe is still great though!

Personally I am a fan of the scoobymania 3 inch system. Mine is one of the older types made by their old manufacturer but I still love it and the sound and quality is excellent.

Presumably H&S would make one up to whatever spec you want, that is if they don't do one already!
APS do a complete 3" with cat, as does MRT, although I the APS is probably easier to get hold of, and from what I remember, rather cheaper... Oz manufacturers should be making pretty good catted systems as their laws are rather more viciously enforced than in the UK, so more time will have been spent on them.

Nom is correct we do do a down pipe with a 100 cell high flow race cat ,in fact we have just supplied JW racing with one.

Ian, can you pm me please with Specification/cost for a system which will pass MoT, work with an Sti v3 used for competition. Noise level must not exceed 100Db!
Not looking to buy straight away, building up a pile of parts over time.
Do you do Gruppe b UNEVEN headers/up pipe?
Graham.

After the article in Jap Tuning magazine, do you all agree the 3'' is the way to go?

I don't know what the article in Jap Tuning said, but the bigger the better with an exhaust on a turbo. Always.
The cat will keep the noise level down significantly all by itself - I don't think keeping it under 100db should be a problem - but things can be done like a bubble silencer (I think that's what it's called! - another silencer, basically...) put in the centre section. H&S even made a backbox up for me that tapered to 2.5" at the very end (the gases are cooler by that point so the reduction in size barely affects performance but does reduce sound level) - I like a quiet performance system!

Nom, the article said exactly the same. You want an unrestricted pipe, no back pressure, and 3'' does that.
Thanks for the info, it all helps plan the engine mods....
