which cam belt?

which cam belt?
im going to change the cam belt on my 94 wrx, is the uk belt the same? if so does anyone know of the part number?how much and where from? halfords quoted me £155 for a uk belt but wasnt sure if they were the same as the jdm.

They are the same but you would get it cheaper elsewhere..
GGR or www.camskill.com for example.
Also think it is a Rootes belt so you could go direct to Rootes via a parts supplier etc..

Got 2000 odd miles to go before I change mine..
I believe the belt is just long.. due to four cams you can lock the cam wheels with mole grips, clamp them together. A mole grip on each bank.
The tensioner has to be compressed in a certain way.
Manual is linked off this site under workshop manuals.

piece of cake to do, doing mine again this week for the second time in a month - easier to take your rads off for the time it takes
there are marks on the cam wheels to line them up properly, but you do need the manual to know where they go in relationship with each other
