Default Fault P 0171, too lean??? ANY GURU´S OUT THERE

as above CEL was on so i went to the garage and they gave me this code.

I have APS induction kit 65MM APS FMIC ECUTEK bespoke map Devil turbo back de-cat, (Up pipe remains at the moment) on a MY 01-02 WRX.
I have a limmited knowledge around engines/ECU´s but is this most likely to be a fault with:

A: The map, its been done for 4 months now with no probs. However the ambient air temp has risen as the weather has got warmer.

B: The lambda sensor, getting aggro because its no longer sat happily snug in a CAT.

C: The sensor in the Up pipe.

D: The MAF sensor.

Ive checked all my hose/pipe connections before and after the airfilter, all the way to the turbo inlet.

Ive narrowed it down to possibly these on my knowledge of fault finding on Tank engines. LOL not much good but it gives me a fairly good idea where to start checking.

Thing is i dont know how to check B,C & D
Obviously i can check the map with a delta dash but im in germany without one.

Any ideas you experts out there?

Cheers Aston

The car was mapped with all the mods on it?

MAF would be most likely.. try disconnecting the battery over night to reset the ecu.. never morning it if won't start or idles rough and nearly dies then replace the MAF.. or just buy a new one anyway..

Lambda usually under read when faulty and therefore you run rich.

Believe your year compensates for air temp.

99% sure it will be the MAF.
