Exhaust sounds loud and choppy
Hi all
The Exhaust on MY94 WRX sound to loud and the sounds a bit choppy. I have had a look and it doesn't seem to be blowing anywhere.
Any Ideas?

Tell-tale soot deposits are a good thing to look for
The bits that JGM says, and also around any plugs/bungs that may be in the exhaust system, depending on what system you have...

You could try covering the tailpipe and seeing if the increased back pressure shows anything. Check the rubbers, and that nothing is touching.
Or wait for a cold morning and look for clouds of steam escaping.
