spark plugs with several earth electrodes
Walking through Halfords I have noticed spark plugs with three of even four earth electrodes. It looks like they suppose to produce 3 or 4 sparks at the same time. Has anybody experience with these? And what gap setting do you use? I believe there should be the same gap used as with spark plugs with one electrode, but I can be easily wrong.
The plug will only fire on one spark track, but the current has a choice of which one has the least resistance at that point in time. Have used them (Bosch) on other cars and they work fine, but never on the Scoob. I'm not sure if there is a grade available for the turbo.

Thanks John, I am thinking about trying them on my bike, is there any advantage with these spark plugs? Performance? Longer life? Have you noticed any difference with them?

In theory, I suppose they should have a good life expectancy as the erosion on the ground electrode is shared. In terms of performance, they made my daughters MR2 and the wifes Primera a bit livelier, but then again the old plugs did need changing! The gaps are set, and at just under 20 quid a set in Halfords they are a tempting alternative to original spec.
