red light on dash and no boost
was driving back from pickin me impreza up from the subaru garage where i had the rocker cover gasket changed! and i lost all boost and a red light comes up and then disappears then when i accelerate it comes back on still no boost, the light is like

Cooked CAT?
Disturbed wire for Cat temp sensor disturbed after gasket job, putting ECU into limp home mode?
Its about time this car was in a garage than trying to solve it with well meaning but "blind" mechanics on SN?
Last thing you need is for a minor problem to become something more expensive.
If there wasn't a problem before you took it in and now there is an issue, I guess the garage should look at it rather than you tinker with things.

what does this mean and would this.....
cause my car to not boost, the crack i notice on the duct air intake for the turbo, now in so-called limp mode
and the dash light which looked something like this, it flashed that quick it was hard to tell, but no check engine light.
