Question sti crankshaft

is there any difference from the above to a uk turbo crankshaft? is there any way by looking at it i can tell it's an sti one?

AFAIK, up until the STi9, all phase two cranks are the same (STi/UK).

The STi9 has extra cross drillings on the journals. AFAIK, the WRX crank doesn't have this.

cheers m8. anyone else care to agree with mark there, just to make certain before i go phoning peeps and complaining?

what about phase 1 uk /sti are they the same aswell

Yep !! In fact any two litre crank will fit, turbo or not, they're all the same. Phase 1 - phase 1,, phase 2 - phase 2 of course.

The very lastest STi9 crank is a special all of its own, as said above I believe.
