Hi All
i´m about to install a AVC-R later today, and i would like to have some setup hints,as what to do with the gear settings as i have a 6speed in the car.
And all the tips on the general setup of this thing.
All info would be great,
Thanks,

It only supports 5 gears
When you do the gear learn set-up, I just set it to half way between the 5th and 6th values. Might play later with getting it more accurate in 5th....but this will likely lead to over boost in 6th.
Good luck, Richard

I have now mounted the avc-r in the car,and i have got it to work,
I did set the gearjudge in the middle between 5th and 6th gear,
As it is now it´s set up with gearlearn in all gears,Do i have to turn it off?
I have only done a few pulls at wot,but i have set the boost to 1,2bar,but it only goes to 1,1bar,to i just need to give it time to selflearne,or do i change the dc myself????
Any info on the dc in the different gear,
Right now when it´s not making targetboost, the dutycycle is 59%,but it changes with rpm.....
Will it learn or....?
All info would be great,
Thanks,

I'm trying learn in 4th gear only, but I'm also adjusting duties in small steps to help it.
The idea is to get one gear right (ie; 4th) and then adjust the DC to hit target boost in each gear. I'm finding what worked well with the 5 speed is rubbish now

I'd map it for gears 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 How often do you see overboost in 1st gear
1st gear I presume would then be treated as per 2nd gear which can be treated to a nice big dose of extra 'start duty'
