What's a 'Twin port' engine?

Not sure, but on the older scoobys they only had one exhaust/intake port externally which was siamesed between the two cylinders - I'm guessing it's refering to the fact that each cylinder has it's own port.

From the old bikes we have. We have an Ariel Red Hunter with a Single cylinder Twin port Engine.
In this case it meant there was 2 exhaust ports and thus two exhaust pipes from the head for a single cylinder.
Or you could go on to Mini's the A series had twin lnlet ports each sharing two cylinders, so that could be described as the above as well!
