I have a full Scorpion system as does Stef and can only say go for it, best grade stainless steel used, fantastic noise (b/box on it's own will sound great) and if you dont buy it lots will inc a pal of mine so let me know.....oh, we both have the 3.5"

Just wondered if anyone has any view on this system, as I can get hold of one for a bargain price!!! Also - They have 2 sizes of tail-pipes, a 3.5 inch one and a 5 inch one - what one will be the better option???
My main worry is that it will sound a bit Gary-boyish (which I dont want), A loud meaty rumbling sound is perfect. I have looked up previous posts, and Stef seems very happy with his, so any more raving reviews would be fantastic!!!

used to have a scorpion on my first impreza, made a really nice noise with a 4" tail pipe havent heard of a 5"tail though!

 

Isn't the 5inch job an oval (like the Magnex - i.e. width of oval) or am I just making this up?

Just for your info, Scorpion make a system with either 3.5" inward rolled or 4" straight cut tailpipe (No 5" available - not enough room on the box!!) the basic exhaust is idenitical just personal taste on the trim. The 4" straight cut maybe slightly louder, as the 3.5" has a resonated tailpipe.

i have a decat center and b.box excellent peace of kit especially with a K&N induction kit, it also sounds ecellent. I dont think its that loud but of recently I've been pulled for speeding, although the police never saw me they HEARD me, just got bolloxed and told to slow down (which i have honest.... well most of the time!!). the 3.5 tail pipe is very subtle which i like too.

Anyone know how the full system sounds in comparison with the Scoobysport system?

I have a Scoobysport babckbox and I am thinking of getting a Scorpion centre and downpipe (decat). I want to know if this would sound similar to a full Scoobysport system because I love the sound of that?
