My car started to miss on full boost this morning, had this problem once before and changing the plugs cured it.
The old ones are about 1 year/8000 miles old but it does get used fairly hard.

Can anyone tell me where i can get hold of some denso plugs asap ?
(im based in sussex and need the car for work etc).

The last set were ngk's which were ok, i seem to remember my hks ones being better though.

Does anyone have the denso part number as well please so i know what im asking for.
Presume gap is the norm .7mm on them ?

Hi ptholt,

Did you find out the part number for the Denso Iridium plugs?

From memory from a few postings I think they are IK22's & somewhere a 0.4 to 0.5 mm gap!

Not fully sure though - can anyone confirm?

Johny.

Used to run denso Iridiums. Changed them every 10000kms. They're only supposed to be good for 15000kms.

Platinum tipped plugs should last 30,000 miles+ with little or no deterioration. I would suspect an underlying problem somewhere else in the system?
Plug gap is usually around 1mm depending upon model, boost level etc.
