Hi Everyone,

Just after the correct Part No. for a MY00 WRX. I was supplied with a K&N filter PN. 33-2031-2 and i was wondering if this is the right one for my car. The gasket seems to be the right size but it is very difficult to shut the lid without the filter moving all around. I am unshure if the filter is in the right spot. Have I been given the right filter?

I have a PDF document from K&N with a list of all the panel filters. I shall email it on to you. I have an MY00 with a K&N panel and it was a bit of an ar$e to fit. Just make sure you have fitted correctly to the bottom ridge, then it should close with a push.

I took the Airbox lid off completely and fiddled with it and it does fit alright. Just like u said GW2000 an "ar$e" to fit.
I rang K&N distributer and he said i had the right one. But he couldn't find the K&N Filter I found on the internet in his Aust part list.
So he wants the actual Subby part No. so he can do a cross reference himself--i didn't have it with me then. So i will c what he says when i ring him back.
