Question

Daft questions for many of you but....

Can you tell me what the exhaust sytems of a classic sti comprises of!

I understand the center section can be removed and replaced with a decat section but the downpipe also - do you purchase a decat downpipe & an up pipe?? or a decat up pipe... oh sod it - can someone clear this up!?

Cheers

You need a Downpipe and centre to de-cat the car, then a backbox for power gainss and the famous scooby burble!!
Up-pipes go into the turbo and don't need changing really until you go for headers etc.
Hope this helps!!

Perfect! Understand now.

So up-pipe not really an imediate concern for me.

The downpipe - having been offered a magnex for £100 good deal - decat center I assume I can just locate a magnex decat also. Then a ruddy great backbox

Thanks again
