Are you talking complete system, whcih is what I have on mine now or just backbox? or back box and centre?

They are not loud imho but louder than Magnex and Prodrive backbox.. no idea on decibel... must measure it sometime..

JGM do you have full decat Scoobysport (up-down-centre-back) and did you wrap your exhaust with heat wrap? If yes how much louder is your system compared with say a PPP car that has only centre-back box?

I have at the moment (it's a 96 Wagon btw) h&S/Scoobysport downpipe, centre and backbox and it is a lot louder than a PPP..

I suspect just a scoobysport backbox would be louder or similar to the PPP..

If you want quieter then the magnex resonated centre is good.. and / or the magnex back box..

Up pipe on my car at the moment is still the standard item./

i used to have a full ss system on a p1 , that was ok taking your time but loud flat out, ive now got a sti7 ppp with a straight through centre, thats about right, i remember hearing you could get different back boxes, louder of quieter, i just ordered a back box, the centre section can be had with a silencer, mine was just a pipe

Talking

Recently had a H&S backbox and centre fitted. It's noticible but not OTT. Bit louder on cruise and at idle and a nice roar when booting it.

Give them a ring, they'll make it as loud as you want.

we can make it any noise you want ,we have just released a new design a jap style that comes out a angle. Rolling road (Engine advantages ltd ) test gave a additional 5BHP over the orginal Scoobysport design and the best thing is it only costs £220 plus the P+P and the vat.I would put a picture on but not sure how (i no embarrassing ) so if an any one wants a picture it will have to be a PM
