I had mine done in March by Xoticar in South London. The flywheel had to be skimmed, a standard clutch refitted and gearbox oil replaced, cost about £600.

I say 'about' coz I had a service at the same time and the labour isn't seperated. On this point, shouldn't a new clutch, even a standard one, be able to spin the wheels on a full bore take off. Its not something I would do all the time but its reassurring to know that the clutch is really biting.

My 95 WRX has never, with various levels of tyre wear and different stages of clutch wear, been able to spin the wheels. Take off, however, is pretty good once again.

I had a new STi clutch fitted by Roger Clark Motorsport (tel. 01455 828610). Full kit including housing cost just over £500 fitted. Very pleased with the work as usual.
