When my car has heated up (water level reached middle) I reckon I can smell a slight burning oil smell from inside the cabin. It was serviced a couple of months ago. Oil level seems to be OK and car is generally fine. Smell seems to go away after a 'brief whif.' No obvious pools below car or any obvious leeks. I would have thought that any residual oil from the service would have burnt off ages ago. Any suggestions - what seals go etc?
Nah, the only eggy smell comes from my ***! The smell is strongest at the turbo when I have looked under the bonnet in the past. At first I thought it was almost like a blowing exhaust smell - I would not be able to tell with the noise as I have an afterburer which is lound as f*ck! Assuming it is the rocker gasket, what would cause it to blow anyway?
