My search for a quiet (ish) decat has lead me to Magnex but after talking to Wendy ? at Scoobyworld she said the ninja is comparable on loudness to the magnex but it is a different noise and comfortable on motorway journeys.

could this be what im looking for, anybody compared a magnex to a ninja sound wise.

anybody near cambridge got a ninja fitted I could have a listen too, theres a pint in it for ya.

cheers

Peter

Im no where near cambridge, But went from a Magnex to a Ninja, the Ninja is definitely louder & more intrusive on Motorways, Magnex has a deeper note than the Ninja.. There are a couple of sound clips on the scoobyworld site.. Have a look there

I've had a Magnex and a tsl firestorm.

magnex is pretty quiet, tsl is very heffin loud.

just had another bb fitted by scoobyclinic, not sure of the make but it does look identical to power engineerings t75 b/box.

This one suits me perfect, quiet on normal cruise and tickover, but boot it it makes a lurrvely loud note, pops and bangs too, which is nice...

Pbee.....i live in Soham. I have a nija b/b fitted to my classic with a H&S decat centre and an H&S decat open neck downpipe.
The ninja on its own with the rest of the system as standard made a nice burble but not loud. With the decat downpipe added it gave a lovely grunt to the overall noise and made the nija sound alittle deeper and louder but without motorway 'droning'.
On December 31st i had the decat centre added but unfortunetely when reversing out of the Exhuast fitting centre hit a telegraph pole . So i have only had the opportunity to hear the full decat with a ninja b/b on my way to the body repair shop some 10 miles away! But i noticed it sounded much deeper on tick over and cruising at low speeds.
I like the Ninja very much for its looks, price and most importantly sound. You can certainly hear a ninja coming...it turns heads all the time. However, i have had no other system other then the one set up on my Scoob, so i can't really compare it to other set ups.
You are more then welcome to hear the Ninja on my Classic and i'm often in Cambridge....but at the moment it's being repaired and i'm not sure when i will get it back.

smurfy.
