I have decided a change is in order and am going to go for the full BPM twister system to replace the scoobysport.

Can anyone tell me anything of interest having had the system done.

Is it that much noisier?

Does the back box final pipe look enormous like a bear cave?

Heard that loss of low down is in theory bollox, but torque is noticably better, any thoughts on this?

ps, any one doen this on a 22b before, where low down torque is not a big problem?

thanks for the help guys.

Going for the twister because of the flow characteristics, in that it is supposed to yield more power.

Twister is top of the range for a reason I suppose, and greg wasswearing by it on the phone last night.

I thought it might be a bit different too.

If it is not rediculous looking then to me taht is an added bonus.

Question

Adam, what scooby are you planning to put the system on?

When you spoke to Greg @ BPM did he give any indication of delivery dates? Is the twister iii finished and ready for marketing?

cheers

Cool

Adam,

Have you talk to TheUsualSuspects about the twister... IIRC, the feedback from them on said system wasn't amazingly favourable...

Howie, the exhaust will be going on the 22B.

Thanks harj, look forward to hearing the results.

Power and sound, are my main concerns, dont want it to be too antisocial.

Hi guys...

Its me...

The BPM system does flow better at the top end. I had the twin design (not the latest Mark III).

The biggest difference comes from the downpipe obviously.

To be honest.. the exhaust has to be combined with other mods to get the best out of it - what goes in, must come out - in theory

Its not as loud as my current setup..which I love. But a good system.

Plus they are now doing the exhaust in Stainless (the mild steel was a turn off for me). But I believe the downpipe is still Mild Steel ?

A viable alternative.. plus more and more people are getting them.

Moray,

How many of TheUsualSuspects have actually tried the exhaust though? Not many - or any??

Seems OK to me - put it on my STi and it pulls better higher up than the SS one I had.........
