Thumbs up

Thanks Pete for making my car the car it should have been!

The exhaust is fantastic. It has made a biiiiiiiiiiiiig difference.

All those people out there with my01's contact Scoobysport you will be amazed at the results the exhaust gives.

Cheers m8

Cool

Hi james

Had the full system done including downpipe. So there are no cats, Yipee!

What a difference. The car pulls away better in all gears now and doesn't feel like its got a stick up its ar5se. This is what should have been like from day one!.

I've got a k&n panel filter on at moment. Blitz should be doing an induction kit soon.

If you want better acceleration go for it. It is well worth it.

Be quick though the pipes are going fast.

Cheers Ady!

I realise this is very boring asking - but what is the reaction of your dealer / impact on warranty? Thats the only thing stopping me at the moment - so any advice would be great. Did you insurers mind? Any premium increase?

Wink

James

The exhaust made no difference on my insurance premium.

Ask your dealer if your car is still covered under warranty.

All the best

Cool

Are you coming on Saturday to Bruntingthorpe? Simon DB is arranging a comparison test with a Ferrari and a few select scoobs. There might still be room for your car.

You could see my car and hear the exhaust.

Just a note to us "MY01" leppers

I was on the midlands cruise this weekend, and followed behind several UK turbos (all with Scoobysport full exhaust kits). Whilst im not implying i kept up - there was only a minor difference between us in a straight line. My car has no mods at all. The UK cars gained a few car lenghts but these gaps were closed once we got to the corners. I could certainly keep up. I wasnt "blown away" by the UK Turbo like some people (alleged experts) reckon i would be. People have posted how the MY01 is "so slow"!!! Interesting that. I was two up (me 18st, passanger 12st) and had a full tank of petrol. And no one overtook me either.

I realise the factor of driver/conditons and roads is a factor, but i was really pleased to see that in the real world the two cars are on a very even keel - i cant wait to get the exhaust done and see what happens then. Can you imagine the Mk1'ers faces if we overtook them in our slow, heavy, ugly, underpowered cars. Id post the photo on the BBS!!!

Question

Are any before and after dyno figures available yet for any MY01 mods?
