WRX Sti boost limits?
#2
Why do you need to know?
Boost is not what gives you the massive power/torquew hike but the ignition advance does - but this requires water injection/bigger intercooler/Octane Booster, etc.
On a basic chip you should not be going over 1.4/1.5 bar. I run at about this on a slightly modded sti5

Craig Hardman?
Nahhhhh on a Link/Motec/Unichip - not the standard JECS
I run at 1.4-1.5 bar - depending on how cold - if its colder I get a bit more boost -used to be able to get a bit of overboost with a restictor - but the modified VF22 from Turbo dynamics does not need this - spools up to maximum at about 4000 revs - which is much more laggy than the VF28 and VF22 but it certainly kicks!
Just need a decent exhaust now - will prob go for the Scoobmania one - as the BPM is on its lasts legs - but it is 10 months old!
