Ninja....very good especially with a decat downpipe
Nice sound, but not loud like Firestorm of afterburner. Having said that, someone told me last week that Ninjas are banned at track days for being too loud...is this true anyone?
Took my classic on a very long run at the weekend on the motorway, you can hear the Ninja exhaust while motorway driving but it's not droning in your ear drums.
Like all exhausts, the hotter it gets the better it sounds...pops and bangs aswell
All in all, i'm very pleased with the Ninja.
smurfy.

Pretty much the same as what pappasmurf said but with the afterburner its just Louder. Have had mine with full cats quite nice sound if a bit muffled, and now without cats, much crisper sound and and it pops and farts like an oap when it gets warm.
Had no trouble with noise levels at Brands with the decat and afterburner, and after a bit of practice you can drive them reasonably quitely if coming home after 1 am ect.

Had Firestorm with decatted centre and downpipe for a couple of months now. Finally had to put a couple of layers of insulation in the boot just to quieten it down a bit - but the sound is second to none and the way a Scoob should sound in my opinion.

I've got an Afterburner - bloody noisy and does get on my nerves very occasionally. Learnt to turn the tunes up especially on a motorway trip!
No way you can come home quietly in the early hours of the morning

Afterburner is a quality piece of kit.
Started off with just the back box.( Nice sound and not overloud.)
Then replaced the centre section. (Even louder burble)
Lastly changed the downpipe. (More noise but, pop/bang/crackle)
The best bit is when hot on full chat changing gear from 1st to 2nd boom!! Sounds like a shotgun.

I have the firestorm on mine, nothing else changed, and it sounds the business...really nice deep rumble..but it is loud and droney on the motorways. I passed an OAP with a dog on a lead yesterday and the poor dog nearly hung itself on the lead it was so scared....poor thing.
But if you want the real scooby sound, there is only one choice.. the firestorm.
