What oil?

Hello, guys. What kind of engine oil should I use in the JDM STi8 spec C? That it is for my first 1000mile service. Motul? Mobil 1? Castrol? 5W30? 10W40? Different?

At this point you are best served by a semi-synthetic oil of 10w/40 grade. Shell Helix Plus, Motul 200V, or Mobil Super S are all very good.
Change again for more of the same when the car has around 4000 miles on the clock, then at 8000 miles or so drop that out and replace with either Mobil 1 Motorsport 15w/50, Motul 300V 15/50 or Castrol RS 10/60.
