To clear up the rumours that have been circulating I contacted PE today to ask what was happening with the phase 1 conversion and about the stories of dodgy ECU boards and a withdrawn product that have been talked about on IWOC and here.

The PE phase 1 was never withdrawn but was temporarily unavailable for about a week in early January when PE found one or two boards with problems. A couple of customers wanted to book their cars in immediately at that time and were given this information. Presumably this information escalated into a "product withdrawn" rumour.
