Question

Lee,

Can you be a little bit more specific about the problems you personally have had?

Mine was one of the first cars to get the conversion at the beginning of the year and haven't had any problems to date. Is this just good fortune?

Thumbs up

I do not want to bad mouth power engineering as they have been good with me so far and have help me sort my car all the way down the line.Basically when the car came back from p.e the first time i could here it pinking i rang and they explained it could be that the car was running warmer on the road than on the rollers because they couldnt hear the pinking in the workshop they could not road test it properly as i had trailered the car down without the front bumper also i kept over boosting and the check engine light kept coming on ,so it went back down when i got it back it was alright for a few weeks then it all started over again the same problems i ring back up again they say it could be because the wheather is now colder which could be making the car produce more boost also i donot have problems with cold start but soon as the temp needle starts to move it coughs and splutters in traffic until it is completely warm i have told them of this and they say now they will have it for a couple of days and really give it a good road test at all temps i will not be having it done yet as i am going to do a engine rebuild but pe said they will sort it out in the future when ive got my new engine run in thanks to all at pe for being so helpfull.
