used this on a old golf once and the motor never blow up(a first)so is it any good for my 94 wrx gray SCOOB ??.just changed oil as well
so now is the time to let it av'it' slik 50 that is lol

General consensus is that it's snake oil.

I have, however, used in on a few cars (Astra, Belmont, Saab 900) with no ill effect.

Whether there's any ill effect or not does depend a lot on engine tolerances & design.
There is no tolerance in Subaru engines for this stuff. I'd steer well clear. It can work well in knackered old A-series & so on, but that's not quite the same

Slick 50 cost me £500.00 When I put some in a 323i BMW, within 1 mile the cam belt snapped!!

I Did read a article somewhere,Where,The trading standards or equiv,Tested every addative,To see if the stuff really did give its
manufacturers claims,The conclusion was that,Not one,Was up to the manufacturers claims and a large majority(slick 50)being one,"could" be very harmfull to the engine,Some reports claimed the stuff,Frothed around the oil pickup pipe strainer,And in severe cases.....Blocked the oil from entering the pump....I will not use the stuff....There is no substitute for good quality oil and frequent changes in my opinion.....
