Hi all

I've got a 98 STI4 import, de cat midpipe and green cotton filter, but the car doesn't seem to rev easily in the upper portion of the rev range, it feels a bit asthmatic toward the red line and being new to scooby ownership i'm not sure if this is just a characteristic of the boxer engine or not, and wether a power graph would reflect this.

Any thoughts appreciated, Nik

That'll be the joy of thr catalyst
It bungs everything up above around 5,500rpm. It may, of course, also have collapsed, which wouldn't help... I'm not too sure how many sti4's still have any catalyst left in them at all so wouldn't know if this is common or not
