Does anyone know if a gearbox of a 2.0 16v impreza will go onto the turbo lump, therefore changing it into a 2wd

trouble is, even the 2.0 16v has 4wd!!!!

Hmmm, what a ridiculous idea...

If you want a powerful, evil handling front-wheel-drive car, try a Focus RS, Volvo 850R or Rover Tomcat...

If he wanted it RWD, he wouldn't be talking about transplanting in the gearbox from one of the (FWD) lower models.

It's a moot point with the 2.0i Sport gearbox though, as these are AWD, as Ron has mentioned.
