I tried to fit a Lateral Performance FPR today,(MY00) but came unstuck?
I have downloaded Nezz's fitting guide, but still can't work out what to do with the Original Fuel rail? Do you have to run the whole length of the hose supplied, under the inlet manifold, across to the adaptor replacing the old FPR? If so, what happens to the original metal fuel rail which goes across there?? Is it just left redundant??
Yours, (confused) Pickle

If it's the regular FPR, with fitting kit it's actually pretty straightforward.
The adapter goes where the OE fpr is (at the end of the fuel rail, just above the turbo), best thing is to plan where to mount the new FPR, and do that based from how the pipework on it will work with the fuel lines, you don't want any kinks on those.
Basically, fuel rail - adapter - bit of fuel line - new fpr - bit of fuel line - fuel return pipe.
Keep it simple.

Thanks for the reply but, I know how to fit the kit, just want to know what to do with the existing fuel rail that is standard equipment!! Is it redundant, or do I use it still instead of the hose supplied???
Pictures anyone??
I can't believe you just leave an empty fuel rail there! seems odd to me.

You can use the original return and not leave it redundant, instead of using the supplier hose - however it is a bugger to fit unless you happen to have the turbo off.
Use the supplied hose and leave the original return pipe redundant - it is empty and is not used.

Cheers Rannoch thats the info I needed!. Just one more quick Q though, when you remove the existing FPR did you take the short length of rubber hose off the fuel rail completely, or leave it on the end? Just wondered if there is enough room for the new length of hose to fit aswell? Also what is the straight double ended metal hose joining fixing for supplied in the kit??? I see no need for it??

Just leave the original bit of hose there. There's enough room. You won't be able to get to the clip anyway because the turbo is in the way. As for the adaptor, you won't need it because the length of the hose supplied will be long enough.
