Help!!

Fitted a Scoobysport Downpipe, Centre section and Back Box to a MY01 WRX. Car has been great for weeks with a fantastic improvement in throttle response & power. Went out the weekend, first time I have given the car a good run up the motorway since having the exhaust fitted. After travelling for about half an hour i'm in the outside lane doing 85-90 with the flow of traffic and the engine management light came on and I lost all power. I had to pull over to the hard shoulder and restart the engine, car misfired for a few moments and was ok so I drove on. 5 mins later the same again. Finally got the car home and went to the dealer the next day and the Subaru Select monitor gave the reason as exhaust gas temperature too high.

Do I need the electronic fix that Scoobysport sell as I assume that decatting the car is causing this fault??

All posts and help appreciated.

EGTs should be lower with the decat, AFAIK, as the engine VE will be much improved.
So I'm suspicious of a Subaru garage (not for the first time )

Why you don't try a 2,2k resistor in place of original EGT sensor and see if it works, it costs ridicilus amount and 5 minutes of your time along with a nut for the hole of the EGT as they usualy tend to fail with or without aftermarket exhausts?
Just my 2p...
