might cost a bit but j-w racing do a whole new 'bit' that fits on the inside of yer bonnet, you remove the orignal plastic/metal 'bit' and fit the new one which has a splitter built into it. Jamie had one at the NBO on his stand but when he said it didn`t fit a classic i lost interest and didn`t ask price

edited to say due to way the j-w racing site is built i cant get a direct link to the page you want so i`ll give you directions....
once you`re on the subaru part of the site, select turbo from the product drop down menu, then select intercoolers and scroll down to the aps splitter £80

Got this made yesterday. For those that don't know it's to stop all the air going down the back of the intercooler and push more air to the front.
Cost me £15 and he still has the template if anyone is interested.

(Sorry for the size of the pic's)

Adam,

Looks very nice. Where did you get it from? Is it possible to purchase this from somewhere? I saw a similar design earlier and tried to mail the the person who make them but did not get any response. Have you noticed any difference?

Kind regards

Daniel

The guy making them is Mike Ferris. I've tried to contact him to order onem but no answer so far... He's supposed do be producing them up until december this year.
Anyway, does anyone have some blue prints for this splitter, as I,m getting tired waiting to order one from Mike?

very interested in the template mate, do you have it on your PC so you can mail it to me or would you need to post a copy of it?

Have not had it on long enough to test yet but i'm going to say, "YES it does make a differance." Car is now in the body shop having work done, when she comes out i will then be able to notice the differance.

Just checked my e-mails and there is a few people interested in the splitters.

The easy way for me is to reply on here.

When i got them made I asked the question " how much for how many" on case people wanted me to get a load. For me to make 15 he said about £15 each.

Anyone interested then post below and we can then sort out rest.

Thanks Adam.

Good question. Would like to say yes but not sure.
The person who made it has nothing to do with cars, i gave him a template and asked him to make it from that.He makes things for me for work.
Got the template from someone off scoobynet but can't remember who it was.

Waiting for about 15 replies who are interested.
Will fit a MY99 and any other year with the same intercooler.

If 15 are interested then i can get some made. If we can't get 15ish then i will have to relook over it.

To make it easy e-mail me with a yes then i can keep a track on numbers easerly.

Thanks Adam.
