Any tips to get the tamper proof cover off the pre 97 MAFS adjustment screw?

I had a quick go at this and the bugger wouldn't budge. I want to adjust it slightly as i believe that this would be of benefit as my induction kit has thrown the MAF calibartion out slightly. But how the hell are you supposed to get this thing out without destroying the actual MAF housing? Any tips would be most appreciated, if all else fails i'll have to play with the MAF calibartion in the ECU or easier still just fill in the lean spot on the actaul fuel map.
Cheers,
Tony.

I think it would be easier to sort out the MAF in the ECU. - I would say that though!
I had a brief look at the MAF housing and it looks as if it's a case of breaking it to get in. Maybe getting a knackered one to experiment with would be a sensible idea?
Either that or fitting a small variable resistor near the ECU to alter the voltage it sees? After all, that's what the adjustment will be...
YHM about this and other stuff...
