Question

I've got a Dawes AFR meter (Scooby calibrated) fitted to a MY93 WRX

I started it this morning the meter jumps straight to the blue light and there it stays, car runs like a bag of poo!

Nothing from the CEL?

Any ideas

Mike

Mine did this a few weeks back. Even without the engine running but ignition on it went straight to blue. A week later my fuel pump died and when it was replaced my afr was ok again I couldn't understand how a failing fuel pump could make the mixture rich but it's been fine since. I have a 93wrx and dawes afr as well.

Is blue full rich?

Sounds iffy, almost like aither the MAF or 02 has gone into failsafe? Was it working fine previously?

Also worth checking the wires with a multimeter.

Think I'm gonna have to have a play

Hmmm,

Should take a couple of mins to work, assuming its a heated sensor.

Mine ran very bad for a day before the pump failed. Knocklink showed some det the weekend before it died and the idling was poor. I did check my lambda first though.
