As you may already know my check light has been on for ages now, so I decided to get it sorted out.

The car is a Belgian import, MY01 WRX, it is just on 18 months old with full servce history, 20000mls.

My local dealer put it on the diagnostic machine and it printed this out(£12.00 plus VAT) ........CODE=P0037 heater control circuit low (blanc 01 censor) DD to interpret via IN,re-book as appropriate.

Now then the dealer hasnt seen this one before so he told me to carry as normal until he gets in touch with Subaru.

I ring back 4 days later, because he couldnt be ar5ed ringing me back, to be told that the car needs to be booked in and there is a fault on the wireing harness.

How much are we talking about I asked, about £60 plus vat.
I have booked a car to use as he said he needed the car for a couple of days.

My questions are, has anyone heard of this fault and what is it, why do I have to pay to have it fixed, and why is it so cheap, considering he needs the car for two days?
