Anyone got Magnex non-res centre fitted?

Has anyone got a Magnex non-resonated centre section fitted along with back and DP?
I am told that there is not much difference in sound between res and non-res but now I have doubts. The parts are getting fitted next week and I am worried that it is going to be too loud inside the car.
The Magnex back box is perfect for sound inside and I don't want to spoil that.
Also, what sort of performance gains have any of you noticed from full de-cat.
All comments appreciated

I had a Magnex striaght thro pipe when I first got mine but it wasn't loud enough, by standard zorst with Cat and all the other bits in it was louder.
You should be fine mate, you won't even know it's there :0)

There is quite a big difference in noise between the res and non-res centres, I have got the res centre + dp and bb. Sounds good and is just about bearable on a long run, my neighbours disagree though!
Straight through centre is too much for most people. No difference in performance between the two either.

From my own experience the Resonated Magnex is actually slightly quieter then the Standard center CAT.
I have tried un-res, res and cat on my system (TSL Grp'N' Rear).
I initially thought the un-res was too much, but when I tried a Resonated it was too quiet. The Cat pipe was actually slightly louder.
In the end I went for the un-resonated Magnex.
Alot of the noise comes down to what Rear box you have.

My m8 fitted a non-resonated centre to join his 6x4 BB. The car isn't significantly louder at all, but it has given it a more raspy soundtrack with a few pops and bangs for good measure.
£50+ extra just to have a resonator is a complete waste IMO.
As stated above, it is probably down to what BB you run.
