Question

Anyone know what the "coldness" rating is of the Standard MY02/03 STi sparkplugs are in comparison to the table in the link below?

http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/plug/sfr_data.html

I need to get iridium sparkplugs to use with leaded racing fuel and what plugs that are close to the standard plugs.

The std plugs are rated as 6, you should use the S35i which is rated 7, the one grade colder will be a definate benefit as the 6's tend to overheat if you push hard. Don't fit the 40's as these run too cold.

Hi John. yes, tried NGK PFR7B's, NGK racing 8's, HKS S40i's but non of them are as good (in my car) as the S35i's. They seem to be a very good all rounder and are just as happy at 2.3 bar as 0.3.
