I dont know about this. I was yes and then thought no, i would prefer tuning everything else.

However, after seeing yours move, i would be definitely tempted into getting one (maybe later in the year though).

Was it hard to fit? Did you have to upgrade much else or was it simply buy a NOS kit?

hi money Well had the work done at p.e But now we have had a good look Could fit it very easy .other that the kit all you need is a FCD and Bottle heater .Was running 323 when i saw you that meet Now runnig the car at over 360bhp not had it on the rollers yet But it is over the 360 mark..Thats a 100bhp of gas .
MONEY if your at the next meet will take you for a spine
THats if the engine still works HA HA HA HA

THats crazy mate! I might not be at the next meet but i will be at SOuthend the 14th with the scoob lot otherwise its surrey meet in July. Definitely want to go out in it.

I have a few tuning goodies coming so that should be fun. NOS does sound a good idea, but obviously has to be used wisely! lol

WHat was the kit you got? I heard of different kits such as wet/dry and never knew the difference?

Can the bottle be easily removed? I drive my car everyday so dont think it would be good if people see a NOS bottle in the car. I know i could leave it in and just hide it in the boot but i think NOS would only be good for track days or 1/4 mile strips.

Saying that you never know

i had nos on my GTi6, bottles are easily removed, 8mm spanner and undo a few clips!

It expensive to run though, £40 a refil on an 11lb bottle that lasts about 4 mins on 50bhp jets...ewww

Yes can be alot of money IF USED EVER DAY
Money yes two types the dry kits are norm Direct port I>E each inlet has its own injector ,This type use's a moded ecu which controlls fueling through the car fuel injector .More power from this type also for evenly controled BUt lot's of money The wet type run's one nos injector and one fuel these go through a fogger then staight into the engine Both controled by two solonods and micro switch on the throttle Mixture on the wet type is set up by different jet's Which why best set on the dyno. Hope this make's sence

Wink

Direct port is the better of the two But you can still run up 150bhp on one wet kit So not bad realy.
