I have mate..!!!

I got a back box made by them and all i can say is it was crap..!!!

Basically i asked for a round back box with a blitz nur spec style tail pipe, this was for my old car a celica GT4... He showed me the tail pipe and i said that will do... So He made me the pipe work/back box, and the largest he had and can bend on his machine was something under 2.5in which i was not to pleased about as for 200bhp+ cars you would need at least 2.5in dia.

I went to get the car had he had used an oval back box which was clearly to small for the car... the brackets for the rubber hangers where actually welded to the tail pipe..

So i would not recommend them.. they may have changed now..??

Cheers Dan

My brother is going to get a cat back system from them for his Calibra. He says he has only ever heard good things about them, but I shall certainly let him know about your experience.
Thanks

If its for a calibra im sure it will be fine..!! i.e ive seen a few calibra's in town with rebel power pipes stickers in the window with stainless exhausts on..!

The guy who owns it has just sold his corrado VR6 and bought a yellow TVR cerbra so he must be doing well..!!!

Just tell him to make sure he knows exactly what he will get fitted to the car...

And im sure 2.5in would be fine for a calibra... though you where think of taking the scoob there..

I heard about the yellow TVR!

Not the Scoob; JWR supplied Magnex.

Unhappy

There's no wonder this guy can afford a TVR ......that's severely shoddy work.

My brother is taking it in on Friday. The car is now an embarrassment for him to drive: I wouldn't be happy with anything short of full refund (nearly £300 ) & a replacement bumper(£?).

He told them on the phone this morning that he wasn't happy with his 'exhaust', but they were generally evasive, e.g. 'Calibras are awkward to do' type of comments, 'that is what it is supposed to look like'!!!!! And best of all, he even offered to spray the inside of the whole thing black in attempt to mask it

However, my brother is far more persuasive in face-to-face situations

Dan- you did say so. Like I said though, once he gets an idea in his head there is no stopping him (eg he has a Calibra!) But that also means I think he will sort this out in the end.

Bex

Rebel Powerpipes think the exhaust is fine. I understand this will now be going to court.

As a welder myself i can honoustly (sp) say that the welding on the exhausts are really really (x100) ****ty.
He seems to have mig welded a oval tube onto your existing exhaust.
If you look at the price it cost its a horrible job.
