De-CAT question(s)....
#1
Hi all,
I bought a 1995WRX Import 6 months ago, It came with a Scorpion exhaust system (which is in mint condition), with the rear CAT removed, its not very loud (compared to some others ive heard!!) and Im looking to increase the noise factor.
I'd like to remove the Front CAT, would this be sufficient??
Is the front CAT housed on the down pipe or the upper pipe?? or will I have to replace both?
Cheers for any advice in advance
Rob

change the back box to give you a louder sound, front cat is in the downpipe, removal off this gives biggest BHP gain but also makes it louder inside the car, I have scoobysport centre & B/B, plenty loud enough 4 me

There is a section between the BB and centre cat (resonator). This gives you a little more noise on a scorpion system if you change it to a straightthorugh section plus some BHP gain
