Hi got a can of Silkolene Pro Boost, my maths is crap. How much do I put in? On the can it says 1% to 10ml/litre, I thought that meant 10ml to 1 litre but Revolution Motorstore where I bought it said stick half a can in a full tank. The can is 1 litre, does that sound right?

Cheers, it was about a tenner from Revolution. Suppose it does work out expensive but if you use it like I have been it'll last forever! Gonna stick half a can in now.

i read a website just b4
trent saab or summit
might have sumthing todo with tsl?
anyways they say a full can takes normal 97 sul upto 100/101 ron!!

****
are we talking 101.6/102.6 for optimax then?
**** lol

half a can will do mint for optimax for 100 ron then
found it on the net for about £9ish plus delivery
would rather find a local shop that sells it so i can just drop by and pick up a crate load now and again

this stuff was £10.99 from revolution, slightly expensive but its part of a "test" havent stuck it in yet as i need to fill up later, will fill up and rest the ecu and see what happens with half a can, if its good im gonna seek out sum from a local shop and get it cheaper

looks promising tho

ok
well at 1st

dohh cos i put a little to much in lol

say 60%
no harm done
filled it to the brim with optimax and drove off from the garage

1st impresions
engine seams smoother
on pulling upto a junction just down from the road, as i dipped the clutch the idle speed was higher, ecu seams a ickle bit confused lol

drove round the sea front and pootled about to let the car get a grip of whats going on and then floored it, seams to pull a lot harder/faster/stronger then the optimax + 1 bottle of millers i was useing b4, millers is only 2 ron points (10 points to 1 ron) this stuff acroding to that website is 3/4 full ron (30/40 ron points) which would help no end

drove it home but the idle speed was still haveing a bit of a "moment" b4 it was dropping back down to the proper idle speed so ive left the car outside with the bat disconected to reset the ecu, expecting it to be a quality drive tonite when i go out

i may try sum NF after this
car in question is a 97 276bhp wrx with a pannel filter and a revolution zorst system, downpipe cat is still there, center cat is removed
