Put new plugs in today, (easy!!!) I have a uk my00, with full decat and panel filter, I put NGK PFR7B plugs in, and it now seems to run slightly less smooth than it did, but also seems better when on boost, and giving it a bit of stick, does this sound right?
I did disconnect a lot of stuff due to space, could something be not connected right, or would it just not run at-all if I'd forgotten something???
All thought gratefully read!!

Question

Hmmm....check your idle pipes, and all the vacuum pipes that go back to the air intake.

Question

Did you check the gap before you put them in?

I've not had any NGKs set right from the box so far. Suggest gap to 0.7mm for best results.

Fitted a set of 6B's this arvo and they needed re-gapping to 0.7mm.
I think they were probably about 0.8-0.9 straight out of the box.

I've never gapped spark plugs before. How do one go about doing that? What is the best way?

Thumbs up

You tap'em on a hard surface! Then put a feeler guage in to measure it.

Or for posh people you'll have a gapping tool to do it.

I on the other hand, pay someone to do it for me 'cause I'm filthy rich
