Ok call me a numptie but I can't for the life of me identify where in the engine bay the standard OE fuel pressure regulator is. I know it's somewhere on the fuel rail, but I must be blind.

Could some kind soul please post a decent pic of where to look?

At the rear end of the driver's side fuel rail near the turbo. It is quite dinky
