my insurers (tescos) want to rape another 350 odd quid off me for changing to a performance exhaust. Apparently, the only way around this is to get a 'like for like' replacement (tescos own words), and keep the cats. im currently using the complete factory standard but fancy a louder rumble. i guess i could just change the back box, or am i wrong? if im right anyone got a cheep backbox for sale?

cheers

Sy

My brother pointed out this web site today. It's like a search utility for getting 'best' quotes from a number of insurers. No used it myself, but he's got some good quotes from it.

He's only 23, and Tesco's weren't necessarily the cheapest!

Did you try Privilege ? Admittedly I was 30 when I bought my Scooby but I've been with them for the last 3 years and they are very competitive. They judge mods by price / % performance upgrade. I pay about an extra £80 for full decat & induction.

Andy.
