Unhappy

Need a new clutch for my MY98 UK wagon - I know a guy who can fit for a very reasonable price, but I what make should I buy? I don't want an on off clutch racing type as my other half would hate it etc... Can you help?

Have just had a diamond power clutch fitted. Extremely good value especially if your a bit light on cash.

Depending on the cash state there is the clutch kit from www.importcarparts.co.uk (or the kit from www.autospares-group.com, which I believe is the same and may cost less )

I have ordered stuff from both companies, and found their service to be good (and they deliver to the Island without considering it "overseas" - which is quite important to me...)

I have the importcarparts clutch in my car, and it's been good so far (6 months) and it came with a 3 year guarantee, so it can't be that bad...

Snowy said that he didn't think the clutch would be a problem when he fitted it. I wonder if you're taking your car there?...

Cool

I just had an AP Organic clutch kit and lightened flywheel fitted two weeks ago by Colin Minton from Thames Valley Motorsport and it's excellent.

I got a lateral performance clutch and the action is very 'other half friendly', it's stronger than an AP clutch and is very light to use, hardly different to the standard weedy one.
