The other day was in my car and the speedo needle just dropped to zero and then went back to 60, it then continued for about a min to keep dropping a bit then rising, although it never actually over read, Since then it has been fine but then this morning the speedo has been doing it again. The car seems to be running fine and there is no check engine light on The car is a sti v4

yes it has, where abouts are these on elictric versions, I had a MY94 before and they are on the cable but this car came with it on already.

I have been for a longer drive today and after about 5 miles it starts to work fine, stayed at the parents for a hour drove home and it didn't work then about 5 miles on it starts to work fine again
