Getting bored of my straight through number, as its getting a bit loud I know the Magnex resonated centre is good, but are there any others that deaden the sound?

Get a PPP/Sti5/6 centre. It's straight through but still resonated. I doubt there would be any real restriction up to 300bhp and it's quiet.

Or talk to a fabricator - Hayward & Scott made me up a 'bubble centre' which quietened things down quite a bit (different to a resonated centre - it's actually like a second silencer & has almost now flow impact).

You could always try going back to OE for a month then get bored and put your ol'one back and apreciate it more also;-)

I drove with a twin catted centre (MOT) for a while and quite liked the silence... But I probably would get bored
