Fitted a HKS catback today. but it looks like the HKS mid section goes all the way to connect the downpipe but I have been told that there is cat-pipe that between the downpipe and the mid section?? but as far as I can see.. there arent any!!!!!!! is this correct or there is still a catpipe between them??? also the stock mid-section seems to have a cat in it(written a word 'subaru' on the top).. I am so so confuse...

The blob eye JDM has a longer mid section with a resonator (not a cat), just like the classic shapes have.
The UK blob eye has a two part mid section. The front part (18") has the cat in it, the rear has a resonator.
I presume the bug eye is the same.

On my jdm wrx after the down pipe you have a cat which then connects to a centre resonated section and the back box. I think that with blitz and hks if you have a uk model you need a link pipe but if you have a jdm you dont.

The JDM bugeye has a longer down pipe and a one piece centre,on my sti there are two res boxes in the centre,no cat.The U.K model has short downpipe,cat section,resonated centre and backbox.
