Just about to change engine oil and filter plus change the gearbox oil . How much do I need ? Its a 1993 WRX , also do I need to prim the oil filter ?

from memory - engine 4.5 litres, yes, it's best to prime the filter.

gearbox I think is 4.5 litres as well, as it shares oil with the centre and front diffs. (not so sure on that one.)

Engine oil is 4.5 litres and gearbox is 3.5 litres.
