Question

Having spoken to Graham Goode & K&N @ the Autosport show yesterday, can anyone help with the following..

Graham seemed to think his induction kit would fit a MY99 sport.
Do you think this is possible? as for starters air boxes that are usually removed when installing induction kits are in two completely different places on the turbo & sport. Any ideas?

Also i understand it is a K&N filter? Yes/No?

K&N now offer a 57i '2' kit for the sport with filter surround....

Has anybody fitted either of the above and would like to comment?
Opinions on how either would be fitted would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Paul

Fitted the GenII to my MY99Wagon Sport last thursday in around 30mins...... very tidy kit and sounds great but in my opinion the jubilee clamps that come with it are pretty crap.....fitted my own from work.....
Get the kit m8 you wont belive the sound.......Honest.....even over a magnex system i can still hear the induction kit .........

Before i could afford insurance on a Turbo, (now an STi Type R ) I had a MY94 1.8GL impreza, I got a pipercross induction kit for a MY94 turbo, and it fitted relatively easy (i think I just had to miss out the turbo hoses)

Pipercorss make more of a roaring noise as they are foam filters, K&N make a "sucking"/whistling noise due to the paper element

I have a MY96 Sport and have a Blitz SUS Power induction kit fitted (Supposed to be for a turbo). It is very loud and you will notice a slight improvement in performance.
